Divi Toolbox ➜ Header ➜ Add Menu Hover Effect
Enable this option to add a hover effect to the default Primary Divi Menu or to a Menu module inside the Theme Builder.
Toolbox Customizer ➜ Header ➜ Primary Navigation (Menu)
The following set of options is added in the Toolbox Customizer for all hover effect types:
- Link font weight
- Link text transform
- Link hover color
- Link hover color on fixed nav
You can change the font family, font size, and font letter spacing by using Divi’s built-in options in Header & Navigation ➞ Primary Menu Bar.

You can choose one of the following hover effects for your primary navigation. Each comes with additional customization options which will be visible in the Toolbox Customizer once you enable this feature on the settings page.
- Underline color
- Underline width (%)
- Underline height (px)
- Underline border radius
- Underline offset
- Underline color
- Underline width (%)
- Underline height (px)
- Underline border radius
- Underline offset
- Bracket color
- Link background color
- Link border radius
- Link padding
Additionally, you can choose to keep the hover style on active menu item and to disable the hover effect on parent menu items.
Plase note:
These effects apply to the default Divi navigation. If you are using a custom Theme Builder Header and you’d like to apply the same hover styles to Menu or Fullwidth Menu module – navigate to module Settings ➜ Advanced tab ➜ CSS ID & Classes ➜ CSS Class and add a custom class of: dtb-menu
