Divi Toolbox ➜ Extras ➜ Enable Typing Effect
This feature adds a fun typing effect to any Text module. Navigate to Text Module Setting → Advanced tab → CSS ID & Classes → CSS Class and add a custom class of: dtb-typing
Each paragraph in this module will be treated as a separate text string.
Please note:
This will also work if you use headings (h1, h2 etc) instead of the standard text paragraphs, but to style the outputed text you need to use the default “Text” styles in the module Design tab (the heading styles will not be applied).

Here’s the list of the typing effect settings you can customize:
- Type speed (in milliseconds)
- Start delay
- Back speed
- Back delay
- Only backspace what doesnt match the previous string (on/off)
- Loop strings (on/off)
- Show cursor (on/off)
